Selected from a number of candidates, Susan has been appointed to various Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) Committees. She has successfully served on Member Communication, Education, and By-Law committees.

For the past few years Susan has served on TREB’s Government Relations Committee with former TREB presidents and executive members to represent the country’s largest real estate board on Parliament Hill and Queens Park.

Her passion for ensuring REALTORS are held to the highest standards prompted her to volunteer her personal time.

Susan is a member in good standing with The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, a premier independent authority in training and certification for real estate agents in the art of handling luxury properties. Members of The Institute actively seek out the latest information in marketing strategies, stay on top of changing market conditions, and know how to handle the special needs of an elite clientele and their exceptional properties.

KNOWLEDGE

Susan’s professional business and marketing training (Bachelor of Commerce Degree & Marketing Diploma) are well utilized for developing customized marketing plans for her clients resulting in clients getting a better than average price and selling quickly.

Susan is committed to continuing education in Real Estate and the inherent benefits this provides her clients (completed her brokers licence and is a certified trained negotiator).

Having been born and raised in Toronto, she knows the city inside and out. Including an intimate knowledge of many of the distinctive neighbourhoods that make up this great city.

She also very familiar with the Toronto District School Board (former Home & School Executive member, Ward Representative, & past Co-Chair of School Council). Her insight into Toronto schools has proven invaluable to her clients. After all, it’s not just about the house.

She has taken interior decorating courses that gives her an edge in knowing how best to highlight the desirable features of your property so you can maximize your selling price.

Susan is married to Frank and together they have three grown children. Her passions include reading, decorating, gardening and spending time with family & friends.

She is also passionate about giving back to the community and was awarded a prestigious Civic Award from the Toronto Real Estate Board for her contributions.

Susan has been instrumental in a number of programs that support children at local schools. From starting breakfast programs, to educating children on bicycle safety, to career choices with Junior Achievement, she is determined to make a difference.

For the last number of years she has been a top 10% donor with the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation helping women & children escape violence and rebuild their lives. Since 1998, the Shelter Foundation has raised more than $24 million and currently supports 200 local women’s shelters and national partners.
